6 Northern Ontario Colleges = 1 Successful Initiative Campaign Generates $31 million.
The Study North Initiative (SNI) has enrolled over 656 new students* each spending nearly $16,000 a year in tuition, personal expenses, transportation, accommodation, meals and much more.
That is great news for local economies with SNI generating up to $31 million** for Northern Ontario.
This innovative and cooperative undertaking, supported by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, had all six Northern Ontario colleges working together on marketing and communications strategies to recruit and enroll GTA/Southern Ontario students to Northern Ontario Colleges.
