Building a Competitive Edge in a Disrupted Market

In 2022, changes to Ontario’s autism services funding model created a competitive marketplace where providers had to attract and retain clients rather than receive direct funding. Hands thefamilyhelpnetwork.ca, a leading provider in Northeastern Ontario, engaged TWG to develop a marketing strategy to navigate this shift. TWG conducted focus groups and surveys with clinicians and clients to understand the client journey, identifying key challenges such as communication gaps and wait times. Using these insights, TWG developed a situational analysis and strategy that included a new sub-brand, a digital marketing campaign, and a CRM system. After delivering the strategy report, TWG was retained to implement the campaign, generating hundreds of leads, increasing awareness, and solidifying Hands’ reputation as a trusted autism services provider.
