NeONT/Toronto Blue Jays and the .400 Summit Suite
CHALLENGE
As the AOR for Northeastern Ontario Tourism (NeONT), TWG has created branding and messaging to drive consumers north. Convention and events create huge economic impacts for communities and NeONT wanted to showcase regional opportunities in northeastern Ontario. NeONT was hosting an evening in the .400 Summit Suite at the Rogers Centre and TWG needed to design an engaging invitation to entice special guests to enjoy a Toronto Blue Jays game while learning a bit more about the benefits of holding events in NeONT country.
INSIGHT AND KEY CONSIDERATIONS
Northeastern Ontario offers so much for visitors. Amazing natural beauty, world class destinations, contemporary and cosmopolitan communities, outstanding event venues and indoor and outdoor activities spanning all four seasons. Selling this message while enjoying a Toronto Blue Jays game, in exceptional surroundings, was the goal.
IMPLEMENTATION
We approached the project as we do all NeONT tasks, by ensuring we are highlighting our client’s brand. We tied the BIG brand approach to the invitation and married the Toronto Blue Jays and .400 Summit Suite brands to the overall theme. We worked closely with the client, the communities and reps from the Toronto Blue Jays and Rogers organizations. A printed version and e-version of the invitation were produced.
RESULTS
Results of the campaign are being measured.
